01. Agreement & Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, storefront, and services operated by UNAPPROVED PRESS (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our storefront, browsing collections, or purchasing any garments, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use immediately.
02. On-Demand Production Model
UNAPPROVED PRESS operates a zero-waste, on-demand publication model. Every garment is individually printed upon receipt and verification of payment. We do not maintain massive overseas deadstock. By submitting an order, you acknowledge that each piece is custom-printed for you using Direct-to-Garment (DTG) or Direct-to-Film (DTF) archival printing techniques.
03. Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on the storefront are quoted in the currency chosen with your currency selector (GBP £, USD $, EUR €, CAD $, DKK kr., SEK kr., PLN zł or AED). The final amount and currency you will be charged are confirmed on the secure checkout page before you pay. Prices include applicable UK VAT where required.
Payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS certified payment gateways including Shopify Payments, Stripe, and Apple Pay. We do not store or have direct access to your complete payment card credentials. We reserve the right to modify retail pricing at any time without prior notice; however, active confirmed orders will honor the price displayed at the moment of checkout.
04. Dispatch, Shipping & International Delivery
We fulfill orders via local production hubs in the United Kingdom and the United States. All garments are individually printed to order with an average production and dispatch window of 2 to 4 business days. Once dispatched, orders are handed over to tracked courier services (including Royal Mail 48 Tracked in the UK and USPS Ground Advantage in the US). Shipping fees and complimentary dispatch thresholds (e.g. £55 GBP / $70 USD / €70 EUR / £85 ROW) are specified in our Customer Regrets & Dispatch Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon carrier receipt. In the event of a verified carrier transit loss, we coordinate an expedited reprint.
05. The 14-Day Regret Window & Returns
You have the legal right to cancel or return your purchase within 14 days of delivery. Returned items must be unwashed, unworn, and retain original condition and tags. Complete instructions for returning merchandise are detailed on our Customer Regrets page.
If a garment arrives damaged, defective, or with an ink misprint, we guarantee a free replacement reprint without requiring you to ship back the defective unit.
06. Satirical Statements & Intellectual Property
All typographic arrangements, editorial lookbooks, design layouts, photographic compositions, and software code on this website are the proprietary property of UNAPPROVED PRESS.
The statements printed upon our apparel represent satirical, ironic, cultural, and editorial commentary (“Printed Without Permission”). Statements are designed for subversion and entertainment. UNAPPROVED PRESS assumes no liability for interpersonal arguments, romantic disillusionment, or public confrontations arising from wearing our garments in public.
07. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UNAPPROVED PRESS and its officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or inability to use our products or services.
08. Governing Law
These Terms and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
